five minute friday:: RELIEF
Five Minute Friday is a community wherein a one-word prompt is announced over at Kate Motaung’s site and then whoever wants to write about it does. A free-write for five minutes flat: no editing, no over-thinking, no worrying about perfect grammar or punctuation.
Here is this week’s prompt:
I love when our family has absolutely zero plans for the weekend. I can go for a long hike if I want. I can go for a long walk if I want. I can nap on the couch next to my kids while they watch a movie if I want. We can all head to the pet store and look at cute, fuzzy animals if we want. We can invite friends over for a spur-of-the-moment dinner if we want. J can take the girls on special daddy-daughter dates if they want. I can read or do my Bible study homework or write or make jewelry if I want. I can call a long-distance relative and catch up if I want. We can sit on the porch and do art if we want. I can bake or make homemade pizza dough if I want. I can work in my garden if I want. I can sit and watch my girls play on the front lawn with their bunnies if I want. I can watch Benny practice hitting the baseball if I want. I can even scrub the bath and shower if I want!! Ooooh, now that’s fun… 😉
