Hi there. I’m Kristi.
Believing “me too” is one of the most powerful sentences a person can utter to
someone else, I am aiming to, both in my “real life” and in my writing life, offer encouragement, hope, and a resounding “Me too!” for others out there who might feel alone in their challenges.
I want this space to be a place where women can come to be reminded that they are not alone in their imperfections, that there is hope for them, and that they are treasured by God despite their flaws and failures.
I transparently write about my blunders, struggles, and victories as a mom, as a wife, and as a fellow flawed child of God who wrestles with depression, anxiety, and insecurity.
I am a trying-my-best, desperately-in-need-of-God, imperfect child of the Creator who simply wants to let God into all the nooks and crannies of my life and to bless the folks around me as well as I am able.
I am a deep thinking, deep feeling, love-to-hear-the-deepest-darkest-secrets-of-your-most-vulnerable-places kind of a girl.
I love people— and I also love being alone. I love hiking in the great outdoors— and I also love snuggling up on my couch with a blanket and a good book.
I’m a work-in-progress, hoping God will continue to grow me so that I might be able to somehow encourage and inspire others in their own life’s journeys.
It is a pleasure to meet you here.
